Sustainability is a central component of our corporate philosophy. We are committed to integrating environmentally friendly practices into all areas of our business and are committed to maintaining fair and respectful relationships with our customers, partners and employees.

Environmental protection and nature conservation

In order to make our contribution to environmental protection and nature conservation, we have been taking various supportive measures for some time now. These include the promotion of environmentally friendly transport options for our employees and the maintenance of our green spaces by qualified external service providers. We also create habitats for bee colonies to support the pollination of plants. These measures contribute to a richer and healthier environment and help to maintain biodiversity and the stability of ecosystems.

Energy management

We are committed to minimising energy consumption through the use of energy-efficient technologies and processes. This includes regularly reviewing and optimising our offices, buildings and infrastructure. We also endeavour to switch to renewable energy sources wherever possible to reduce our carbon dioxide footprint. Our contracts with suppliers are continuously reviewed for potential improvements and adjusted accordingly.

 

Waste and disposal

Our waste management includes the careful separation and disposal of residual waste, recycling waste, organic waste and hazardous waste. Non-recyclable waste such as disposable packaging and hygiene products is collected in special containers and disposed of properly. Paper, cardboard, plastic, metal and glass are collected separately and recycled in recycling plants. Organic waste such as garden waste is collected separately and disposed of by external service providers. Hazardous goods such as chemicals and batteries are disposed of in accordance with legal requirements and employees are informed about the correct way to handle them. We work virtually paper-free and sensitise our employees to reduce waste. When procuring office materials and cleaning agents, we look for environmentally friendly alternatives. Recyclable materials, including electronic waste and used glass, are sorted by specialised disposal companies and returned to the recycling cycle.

Business ethics

The company is committed to respect and fairness in all business relationships and expects employees to create an environment in which all voices are heard and valued. Discrimination and unfair treatment are not tolerated. Compliance with the law is a fundamental part of business ethics and all employees must strictly adhere to the relevant legal requirements.

Data protection

We only collect the data necessary for our business activities and ensure that it is collected in a lawful, fair and transparent manner. The data is stored securely and is only accessible to those employees who need it for their work. Taking into account statutory retention periods, data is not stored for longer than necessary. Data will only be passed on to third parties with the express consent of the person concerned or the company, unless this is required by law or necessary for our business activities. To ensure data security, we use technical and organisational measures such as firewalls, encryption and access controls. Individuals and companies whose data we process have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability. Through these measures, we ensure that data protection has the highest priority in our company and that the rights of the persons and companies concerned are safeguarded.

Combating corruption

Corruption includes acts such as bribery, extortion, fraud and embezzlement aimed at obtaining personal or unlawful advantages. Without exception, no attempts at bribery of any kind are offered, promised, given or accepted in our company. This includes money, valuable gifts in kind, services, loans, fees, rewards or other benefits. Gifts and hospitality are only permitted if they are appropriate and comply with the law and company guidelines. They may not be used to exert influence or for consideration. Our employees are obliged to report possible corrupt behaviour immediately. We guarantee confidentiality and rule out any retaliation against the person making the report.

Diversity, equality and inclusion are key elements in creating an innovative and adaptable working environment.
